Marco Island has its fair share of boating tours, but not many are dedicated solely to bird spotting. Most tour companies combine birding, shelling, and dolphin-seeing into a single, two-hour tour. You barely have time to appreciate all the magnificent wildlife or learn about their natural habitat during that time. We dedicate a single tour to birding, shelling, and dolphins each so that our guests can take full advantage of each activity and learn as much as possible about the wildlife they’ll see on the tour. We only hire expert guides for our bird-watching tours as well, so you can be sure you’re in good hands if you have questions or want more info about the birds you see. We aim to make our tours more comfortable as well, by avoiding cramming too many people onto one boat. It’s not as enjoyable to spot birds if you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with complete strangers.
Our bird-watching tours depart from Marco Island and search for unique and exotic birds. We’ll even approach a barrier island and disembark for a little while so you can stretch your legs and spend some time searching for rare birds. We encourage you to bring your camera so you can document the wildlife you see while on our tours, but we ask you to refrain as much as possible from disturbing the birds or any other animals we come across on the tour. Our expert birding guide will not only know the best places to find exotic birds at any given time of year, but can also answer any questions you have about bird species, the Ten Thousand Islands, the Everglades, and the wildlife of the area more generally.
